      Questions

How do I play Globle Game?

Type the name of any country and press Enter. It is coloured on the globe: the warmer the colour, the closer it is to the mystery country. Keep guessing until you find it. There is no limit on guesses.

How is the distance worked out?

It is the shortest distance between the borders of the two countries, measured along the Earth’s surface. Countries that share a border, like France and Spain, are 0 km apart. Read more on how to play.

      What do the colours mean?

Dark red is touching or very close (under 500 km). Then come orange, yellow and pale cream for countries that are far away. The mystery country turns blue when you find it.

When does the daily country change?

At midnight UTC. Everyone in the world gets the same mystery country on the same day.

Which countries are in the game?

All 193 member states of the United Nations, plus Kosovo, Palestine, Taiwan, Vatican City, Western Sahara and Greenland. The daily country is always a UN member state, and each one comes up once before any country repeats.

Can I play more than once a day?

Yes. Practice mode gives you a new random country as often as you like, and you can limit it to the continents you choose.

      Is this the original Globle?

No. globlegame.co is an independent game with its own code and design. It is not affiliated with the original Globle or its creator. See games like Globle.

Can I use it in class?

Yes. Classroom mode shows a big globe and large text in full screen. There is no login and no pupil data, and teacher pages never show ads. See the page for teachers.
